Do you tithe, volunteer, or donate? Are you willing to help your community? When your hand is open to give, it is also open to receive.
The best way to actively show your gratitude for your life and what you have is to give to others who do not. It should be a priority. Everyone has something they can share. A recent study was able to show that those with less were more inclined to give more. Could this be because they understand what it feels like to want?
Today's challenge is to actively block out time to volunteer in your community with regularity and consistency. After you have completed that, look at your budget closely. Can you spare money to donate? Does that mean one less coffee, or reducing your phone minutes? What about limiting how much you spend on soda? Every little amount you can contribute will make a very big difference in the life of someone else.
Still not convinced?
